BALTIMORE - A 20-year-old student is in stable condition after being stabbed in school by an 18-year-old student Tuesday afternoon in West Baltimore, according to city police. The incident happened around 11:30 a.m. at Southwest High School along 200 Font Hill Avenue.

Police said Paul Jones was stabbed in the back parking lot of the school. Both students should have been in class at the time.

Garney is a 22-year veteran science teacher at Amherst Regional High School and Middle School. Garney was ordered to surrender his passport and have no contact with children under the age of 18.
