CHICAGO TRIBUNE -- Lori Zolno, 32, of the 200 block of Joanna Court in Antioch, is charged with aggravated criminal sexual abuse,
harboring a runaway and obstructing justice for allowing a 16-year-old boy who had been released from Gateway Foundation to live with her after he ran away, authorities said. The teen was in the custody of the Department of Children and Family Services when he moved in with Zolno, authorities said. They had a sexual relationship while living together, authorities said.
Ibid. -- Prosecutors have dropped charges against a former grade-school janitor accused of hiding a video camera in a staff restroom, officials said Wednesday. The cost of a "long, drawn-out trial" affected the decision because the citations carry fines but no jail time. Daniel Hofmann, Okayama's attorney, said his client was disappointed because "he did not get a chance to be found not guilty in court."
