Barrington High School officials sent an e-mail warning this week to parents and staff members after two teenagers required hospital treatment for symptoms that police believe were the result of using tainted marijuana.

The alert warned that the teens, one of whom was a student, may have used marijuana laced with "an unknown and very powerful substance," officials said Friday.
