birdwatcherEDWARDSVILLE, Ill. -- Twenty-four-year-old Casey Yonts was sentenced to a decade behind bars after he pleaded guilty to two felony Madison County counts of criminal transmission of HIV, the virus that causes AIDS.
The charges stem from incidents involving Yonts' girlfriend and her sister.
Authorities have said the sisters, ages 19 and 26, were unaware Yonts was infected, and they have tested negative for the virus.
