Sixty-two years after the end of World War II, Boker came up with a new knife concept, which would not have been imaginable in the past. In fearsome battles the Russian and German forces had fought during the war, men and materials were streched to the maximum. Now, at the 60th anniversary of the legendary assault rifle AK47, engineered by Mikhail Kalashnikov, peace is celebrated by past enemies with this special edition. Boker has united the philosophies and outstanding characteristics of the Russan assault rifle and the German battle tank Leopard. The blade features over 300 layers of LEO Damascus steel, hand forged. Another great feature is the Damascus pattern from the LEO I, "Small Pyramids". His affirmation to this project is documented by Mikhail Kalashnikov's signature, which is brought into the blade through a special etchin process. The CNC milled, hardcoat anodized AlMgSi1 aluminum handle is decorated with rare, hand selected Cocobolo wood and includes a pocket clip. Comes in a wood box with a certificate of authenticity. Blade length 4". Overall length 8 7/8". Weight 6 oz.
