birdwatcherChicago Тribune -- An emotional plea from the mother of a 19-year-old Aurora man who died in a crash after using synthetic marijuana convinced a City Council committee on Monday to recommend banning the product in Chicago. On June 14, Max Dobner went to the Westfield Fox Valley mall in Aurora and purchased a synthetic marijuana product marketed as potpourri. Dobner then suffered a heart-pounding panic attack, paranoia, delusions and hallucinations before getting behind the wheel and driving 100 mph into a house on Route 31 at Mooseheart Road in North Aurora.
