Chicago Tribune -- Many Chicago suburbs are embracing senior-only communities because they generate property tax revenue for school districts without adding students. Housing that prohibits families with children—sometimes called vasectomy zoning—has become an attractive option as rising costs put increased financial strains on school districts.
