birdwatcherWBAL-TV—Baltimore, MD The DNR said the Vernons were not the permit-holders for the deer. They said a fawn was conceived and born against permit regulations and because of that, the fawn and the other deer had to be euthanized.
DNR police said the deer were tranquilized and then taken away in trucks to the University of Maryland (надеюсь, на факультет математики и статистики), where they would be euthanized and then tested for diseases.
The Vernons said killing all the deer was unnecessary. They said they hope DNR won't be back on their property again. Оптимисты!!!
