birdwatcherChicago Journal -- Crane High School, 2245 W. Jackson, is one of 11 Chicago Public School high schools that will host a new College and Career Academy starting this fall, according to a media statement.
The new academies will offer training in everything from culinary arts and hospitality to manufacturing, architecture and early childhood education — so-called middle-skill occupations that require more than a high school degree but less than a four-year university education.
