"My goal is to have control over the fees. This may be the market, but it’s not right." said Mayor Menino.
"We need to have price certainty," Tinlin, commissioner of the Boston Transportation Department said. "It’s unfair for consumers who go to a Yankees game to have to pay $100 and those who go to a Tampa Bay Devil Rays game pay $20."
Menino said Tuesday that he will ask the City Council to approve an ordinance to cap parking fees.

Date: 2005-04-15 01:58 am (UTC)Но логика примерно такая же, как в идее, что повышение цен на сигареты способствует их искоренению. Повышение цены парковки - стимулирует приезд к стадиону на метро и автобусе, тем более, что все остановки там совсем рядом.
