NEW ENGLAND NEWS (CAMBRIDGE) -- Authorities claim state police trooper approached a parked car behind a hotel along Memorial Drive. A 26-year-old woman and another man were in the car. The trooper allegedly offered the man a small amount of cash and told him to leave. The trooper then showed her a bag that appeared to contain cocaine. He told the woman, "This could very easily be yours." He then allegedly asked her, "Do you want to spend some time in Framingham?" Framingham is home to the state's prison for women. The trooper allegedly told the woman to follow him in her car. He led the woman to a state-owned building in Cambridge, where he sexually assaulted her three times.

One of his lawyers, George Hassett, said his client is an 18-year veteran who is married with two young children and doesn't pose a flight risk. "He intends to appear in this court and confront the charges."
