Chicago Journal -- Crane High School, 2245 W. Jackson, is one of 11 Chicago Public School high schools that will host a new College and Career Academy starting this fall, according to a media statement.

The new academies will offer training in everything from culinary arts and hospitality to manufacturing, architecture and early childhood education — so-called middle-skill occupations that require more than a high school degree but less than a four-year university education.

Julian Sanchez -- One thing that leaped out at me from the announcement was the claim that the breach “was limited to account information (such as the date the account was created) and subject line, rather than the content of emails themselves.” That piqued my interest because it’s precisely the kind of information that law enforcement is able to obtain via court order, and I was hard-pressed to think of other reasons they’d have segregated access to user account and header information.
