The man said that an auditor was going to stop by the business in a few minutes and would give her a certain secret code, according to police, who said the owner then told her the code.
When the auditor came by and gave her the code, it matched the one she had been given by the "owner". The man told her he was going to check the safe, and took the $90,000, saying to her that he was going to count the money and be right back, police said.
