Bloomberg: For the first time in the eight-year conflict, a majority in the U.S. -- 51 percent -- believe the war in the impoverished, tribalized country isn’t worth fighting, a Washington Post-ABC News poll found this month. Shifting sentiment makes it harder for President Barack Obama (change and hope!) to dispatch additional troops for what he calls a “war of necessity” to prevent Afghanistan from again becoming a platform for terrorism.

Rasmussen reports: Fifty-one percent (51%) of American adults say alcohol is more dangerous than marijuana, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey.

Интересно, какой перевес требуется для отмены национальной идеи, укорененной подобно войне с терроризмом или наркотиками. 95%? 98%?

крайне интересно разделение этих 51% на республиканцев/демократов
т.е. получается, что от этого все и зависит - если раздел проходит "перпенидикулярно", то получается, нужен перевес больше 90%, если более-менее параллельно - то меньше

перпендикулярно, конечно, эти две политики никогда не меняются независимо от администрации
