Радикализация демократов

Интересно, вот это правда без пяти минут готовая подлинная демократическая программа? Сильная вещь в своем антикапитализме, ни одного хотя бы безвредного пункта!
-opposition to outsourcing;
-to protect workers who want to join unions;
-an increase in the minimum wage;
-guarantee that every American will have affordable access to broadband within five years;
-"energy independence" within ten years;
-health care for all Americans within five years;
-"dignified retirement" (no privatization of Social Security) through an "AmeriSave" plan.

Нда, сильная программа. Пелози - известная голова.
Но справедливости ради, я бы отметил, что "opposition to outsourcing" выражено в виде: "She said Democrats will end tax subsidies for companies that send jobs overseas." Это, всё-таки, сильный пункт, если это правда, и такие субсидии есть и их, вообще-то, реально отменить.

Меня тоже поразили эти субсидии. Но и оппозицию я не сам придумал.

Вот что значат эти "субсидии": That ‘‘loophole’’ is a law in the US Corporate Tax Code, benefitting mostly manufacturers, which allows for tax deferment on all money made in offshore subsidiaries until it returns to the US in the form of dividends. Конечно, для политиков если какие-то налоги не заплачены, то это конечно же субсидии.
