birdwatcherChicago Tribune -- In 2003, Rokossowski was issued seven citations for public health and property standard violations after neighbors complained about the smell and noise the cats generated. City officials euthanized 14 cats found on her property.
"I guess it's against the law to feed a cat. What kind of law is that?" Rokossowski said then to the Tribune. "They come in the morning, I feed them, and they go."
