California family vexed by fired nanny who refuses to leave -- They fired their live-in nanny this month, but the woman -- Diane Stretton -- has refused to move out, and the couple has little legal recourse to evict her. "I fired her June 6 and she refused to leave, saying she had rights and I needed to evict her," Marcella Bracamonte told CNN on Friday. "She quit working about a month before I ever fired her -- she would just stay in her room."

Fired Calif. nanny who wouldn't leave disappears -- A fired live-in nanny who had refused to leave a Southern California home and threatened to sue has disappeared, the family said Friday. Marcella Bracamonte told ABC News that 64-year-old Diane Stretton left the home in Upland, San Bernardino County, on Thursday morning and hasn't returned. She left behind her belongings. "I don't know what happened," Bracamonte said.
