Предлагаю словообразование в Microsoft style: FP (Fedora PI). Можно PF, если вдруг FP sounds offensive to anyone. И всё, problem solved.

По-моему, отлично смотрится в разных контекстах. Напр., LPCTSTR lpszFP. Или g_hwndFP.
