"How many of you have no fathers in the household?" she asked.
Better than two-thirds of the audience raised their hands.
"That's a basic problem," Wilson said. "You don't have any idea how to respect male role models."

Judith Morisset, a 1994 graduate of Harding High School and now an assistant basketball coach at the school, was presented to the girls as someone young, successful and without children.
"She's waiting for the right man to come along," Jones told the girls.
"Knowledge is power," said Sauda Baraka, a Board of Education member and a chief probation officer. "It determines your economic status."
