Защита детей
Jun. 14th, 2007 03:32 pmО! Новый закон. WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. lawmakers introduced a bill on Thursday that would protect children from indecent television programs by forcing cable and satellite providers to offer a modified form of la carte programming or make other changes in the way they operate.
The bill was introduced by Democratic Rep. Dan Lipinski of Illinois, and Republican Rep. Jeff Fortenberry of Nebraska. Вот как удачно: и от партии америкосов поддержка, и от партии пиндосов.
Камео аппиаренс: аlso supporting the legislation is Kevin Martin, chairman of the U.S. Federal Communications Commission, a longtime advocate of a la carte programming to give parents more control over what their children watch.
Кабельное телевидение у нас, как известно, неподвластно FCC. Вот оно, вот оно.
