birdwatcherAnnapolis, MD -- The man was identified as 22-year-old Torrence Ramone Davis. Police said he is registered as a child sex offender and is banned from public school properties.
The school resource officer said he contacted the student's mother and learned that Davis is a family friend who had been asked to pick up the student.
Davis was arrested at his Annapolis home at about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday and charged with trespassing on school property, police said.
