Federal Cartel Office -- The Bundeskartellamt has imposed a fine of € 9 million on Microsoft Deutschland GmbH. Microsoft has influenced the resale price of the software package “Office Home & Student 2007” in an anticompetitive manner.

I use Ubuntu Linux (and I'm loving it) and almost never use Windows (except for playing games, but that's rare), however I'm all for the freedom of trade. It's in our best interest to have freedom of trade.

but i allow myself to love or hate individual corporate cultures.
HP is good ( or used to be), google is good, m-soft is eh, apple sucks.
